A driver is in critical condition after he lost control of his vehicle and rolled several times in a crash in Old East Dallas.
Around 5 a.m. Sunday, the driver was approaching a curve driving southbound in the 1600 block of Barry Street where it turns into Crosstown Expressway. He was driving at a high speed when he lost control of the vehicle around the curve, police said.
The car spun clockwise, went over the grass median and into the street on the other side of the median. The driver was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled several times, police said.
Police said the driver was transported to Baylor University Medical Center, where he remains in the intensive care unit.
Two passengers in the vehicle were uninjured, police said.
